We are excited to celebrate over 50 years of the Oklahoma Faith Network, using the power of a unified voice for love and justice. Help us continue this important work that is needed more than ever. We hope that you will join us for our No Hate in the Heartland Luncheon taking place Wednesday, May 6, at the Capitol View Event Center. Doors open at 11am, with the program commencing at 11:30am. We are also excited to share that Dr. Sam Perry - award-winning scholar on the intersection of religion and cultural power - will be our keynote speaker. Samuel Perry is the Sam K. Viersen Presidential Professor of Sociology at the University of Oklahoma. An award-winning scholar and teacher, Dr. Perry is among the nation's leading experts on conservative Christianity and American politics, race, and families. Along with well over 140 peer-reviewed articles published in leading academic journals, Dr. Perry is also the author or co-author of five books, including Taking America Back for God and The Flag and the Cross. His most recent book is entitled Religion for Realists: Why We All Need the Scientific Study of Religion. We hope you will join us and consider a sponsorship to the event.
